Cookies, SDKs and local storage
This Cookie Policy explains how BnR360, operating Flowence and Alayrix ("we"), of H#C-40, Karachi University Staff Town, Karachi, Pakistan, uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits ("SDKs") and similar technologies (together, "Cookies"), and how you can control them. It should be read with the Privacy Policy (Part 4).
Cookies are small files placed on your browser or device that store information, such as a session identifier or a preference. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels (small images that record that a page or email was opened), and SDKs, which are blocks of code embedded in a mobile app that collect data or enable features. "First-party" Cookies are set by us. "Third-party" Cookies are set by providers we use. "Session" Cookies expire when you close the browser, and "persistent" Cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.
3.1 Strictly necessary. Required to provide the service you request and to keep it secure, for example to log you in, maintain your session, remember your consent choices, balance load, prevent fraud and protect against attacks. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off in our tools, but you can block them in your browser settings, which may stop the service working.
3.2 Preferences and functionality. Remember your choices (such as language, region, display settings) to give you a more personal experience. Used only with your consent where the law requires it.
3.3 Analytics and performance. Help us understand how the service is used, count visits, measure performance and find errors, so that we can improve it. Used only with your consent where the law requires it, and configured to limit the data collected where we can.
3.4 Marketing and advertising. Used to measure the effectiveness of our own campaigns, to show relevant content and to limit repetition. Set only with your consent where the law requires it. The Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag are used.
The table below lists the Cookies and SDKs we use.
5.1 Banner and preference centre. When you first visit our websites, a banner lets you accept all, reject all non-essential Cookies, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting and appears at the same level. Non-essential Cookies are not set until you consent where the law requires prior consent (including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Canada (Quebec) and elsewhere). We do not use pre-ticked boxes, we do not make access to the service conditional on accepting non-essential Cookies, and we do not use deceptive design to steer your choice.
5.2 Changing or withdrawing consent. You can change your choices at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of each page or in Settings in the app. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing before withdrawal. We record your choice (the categories, the date and time and the policy version) so that we can demonstrate it, and we ask again at least every twelve (12) months or when the Cookies we use materially change.
5.3 Browser controls. You can block or delete Cookies in your browser settings. Instructions are available in your browser's help pages. Blocking some Cookies may affect functionality.
5.4 Opt-out preference signals. We honour recognised opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data and of targeted advertising, where Applicable Law requires, and we otherwise do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals because no common standard exists.
5.5 Third-party opt-outs. For analytics and advertising providers you may also use their opt-out tools, for example Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and the industry opt-out pages of the Digital Advertising Alliance (US), the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada, the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
5.6 Email pixels. Our marketing emails may contain a pixel to measure opens, used only where you have consented or the law permits. You can block images in your email client or unsubscribe at any time.
6.1 The Mobile Applications use SDKs and device identifiers for the purposes in clause 3, as listed in clause 4. On iOS, we request your permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites, and we will not track you if you decline. We do not use the advertising identifier for cross-app tracking unless you allow it. On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads in device settings.
6.2 SDK data is collected and shared only as described in this Policy and in the Privacy Policy, and in the Apple App Privacy labels and Google Play Data safety section. We review SDKs before inclusion and at each release, and remove SDKs that are not necessary.
Some Cookies are set by third parties that provide services to us, such as analytics, payment, hosting and (if used) advertising providers. Those providers may process data in other countries, as described in the Privacy Policy. Their use of data is governed by their own policies, and we recommend you read them.
Cookies last for the durations in clause 4. We do not retain analytics data linked to an identifiable individual for longer than necessary, and in any case in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the Cookies we use or the law, and will post the new version with a revised effective date and, where required, ask for fresh consent. Questions: services@alayrix.com.
